Industry
Links
This is a
busy chapter using their web site to get news and current information
out to the membership. This web site provides many interactive opportunities
for members to get more information and to give feedback to the chapter.
Congratulations to Elise Farnham, CPCU, as well as chapter
administrator Myra Whorton, and all the Atlanta chapter
members who contribute to this ever growing and interesting web site.
Elise and Myra recently traveled to Malvern for webmaster training.
Webmaster’s
Tip:
Elise says: “It
takes some time to get organized and Leslie Higgins gave us great support
and creative ideas. The website has become our chapter's primary communication
tool. With travel schedules and pressing job requirements, we have 3 web
administrators so that items can be posted timely. Under the leadership
of Larry Peterson, CPCU and Atlanta Chapter past president, we made the
conversion from an outside vendor to using the Society’s platform.
The time involved was well worth it, we get great support from Malvern,
and we have found that our programs are more successful with our website
as our major promotion and communications tool.”
